I have worked as a senior HR professional for over 25 years. I am currently advising and supporting a number of SME’s across the south of England giving HR and Training advice and support. I have worked in small and large organisations, which have been in private, public and not for profit sectors and within many industries including, education, health regulation, leisure and travel, publishing, campaigning, call centres, railway, IT, engineering, construction, retail and energy supply. I have experience in working both in highly unionised and non-unionised environments.

As well as working with a number of SME’s, I am currently working with a number of schools in the South East of England giving HR advice and training support to their senior and middle leaders.

I work with Local Authority Schools, Multi Academy and Stand Alone Academy Trusts. Working with a network of experienced and successful Head Teachers and Senior Leaders I can provide a holistic approach to school improvement and development together with a human resources package to meet the needs of your whole school.

Previously I have project managed and lead a number of large transformational change projects, supported by large scale organisational design and development activities, establishing and embedding culture, values and behaviours. Through the building of robust strategic people plans, encompassing consultation, engagement, communication and training strategies the businesses have been able to meet the challenges of competition and organisational growth. Through large scale organisational integration I have successfully aligned terms and conditions of employment including contracts, policies and procedures and reward and benefits and the full integration of payroll processes, while ensuring a structured approach to consultation.

I am also a Chair of Governors in a successful local primary school and an IEB Member for another local improving school. I am also a Non-Executive Board Director for a large Primary School Academy Trust in Kent.
